Tablus Names David Puglia as Vice President of Marketing

Technology Veteran to Continue Expansion of Tablus’ Market Reach

SAN MATEO, Calif. – January 9, 2007 – Tablus Inc., a leading provider of content loss prevention solutions, today announced the appointment of David Puglia to the position of vice president of marketing.  Puglia joins Tablus with over 20 years of extensive marketing, sales and business development leadership.  In his new position, he will lead the strategic direction of Tablus’ marketing and product management groups and will report to Anne Bonaparte, president and chief executive officer of Tablus.  The search was conducted by Taylor Winfield, Inc.

Puglia most recently served as vice president of marketing for Packeteer, Inc., a global market leader in Application Delivery for wide area networks. At Packeteer, Puglia developed and implemented the company’s strategic acquisition and marketing plans to increase market penetration and overall company growth.  His prior experience includes a position as senior vice president of global marketing at Aspect Communications, where he helped to grow and position the company as a worldwide leader in contact center solutions, tenure as vice president of marketing at Aurigin, Inc., and senior director of product management and marketing at Oracle Corporation.  Puglia also held significant marketing management positions at Synopsys, Inc., Taligent Corporation (Apple and IBM joint venture), QMS, GE, and Sumitomo Corporation.
