Former eBay and DoubleClick Executives Enhance Engineering and Sales Functions

MONTEREY, CALIF., October 10, 2005 — SHOP • COM, the destination online marketplace where people conveniently shop for thousands of trusted brands using a single account, today announced the appointments of Karen Casella as Vice President of Site Development and Drew Green as Vice President of Sales and Merchant Development.

In her role as Vice President of Site Development, Ms. Casella will be responsible for the development of the SHOP • COM online marketplace, including collaborating with the site design team, architecting scalable software solutions and leading the company's software development, testing and release efforts. Ms. Casella brings over 20 years of leadership experience in engineering and software development. During her 11 year tenure at Sun Microsystems, Ms. Casella was instrumental in driving Sun's e-commerce solutions and in evolving web services technology solutions. Prior to joining SHOP • COM, Ms. Casella was the Director of Application Architecture at eBay. Ms. Casella has published several articles and papers in the areas of network security, web services and e-commerce technologies, and is a frequent speaker at industry events. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

As Vice President of Sales and Merchant Development, Mr. Green will lead the worldwide sales team in expanding its merchant base, and working closely with new merchants to ensure their success with SHOP • COM. He brings over a decade of sales, marketing and sales management experience to SHOP • COM. He joins the company from Verified Person, a provider of web-based information and identification verification solutions, where he served as Vice President of Sales. Previously, Mr. Green was with DoubleClick, a provider of marketing automation solutions, where he initially headed up the east coast sales team and later served as head of the Retail and Catalog Vertical, DoubleClick's largest customer vertical. Throughout his career at DoubleClick, Mr. Green worked extensively with top retailers, e-tailers, and catalogers to help grow their online presence and revenue. Mr. Green holds an Honors degree in Kinesiology from York University in Toronto , Canada .
