SellPoint Names George Giatzis Vice President of Sales

Advertising Industry Veteran Brings 25 Years of Success to Executive Team

SAN RAMON, CA — November 3, 2008 — SellPoint Inc., the leading provider of online video on demand product tours, has named George Giatzis its new vice president of sales. The search was conducted by Taylor Winfield, Inc.

Giatzis brings nearly 25 years experience in national advertising sales for both traditional and emerging media properties to SellPoint’s executive sales position. His vast experience in advertising sales for companies such as Discovery Communications, Oxygen Media and Premier Retail Networks makes him a natural fit for SellPoint’s revolutionary ad network.

“More and more, advertisers and their digital media strategists are recognizing that interactive, video-on-demand product tours are powerful, relevant and efficient components of their marketing and online advertising programs.” said Rick Martin, President and CEO of SellPoint. “George’s experience in national advertising sales for both traditional broadcast and emerging digital media networks, coupled with his work with retail giants, makes him uniquely qualified to position SellPoint’s offerings as a fundamental tool for both brand marketers and their retail channel partners.”

Prior to joining SellPoint, Giatzis was the vice president of advertising sales for Ecast, an interactive digital out-of-home network. There, Giatzis developed and implemented the overall sales strategy for the launch of this emerging digital media property.

Giatzis began his career in national television, first in barter syndication with Major League Baseball Productions and then with Kassel Marketing before moving into national cable. As an early member of the Discovery Communications team, he helped grow Discovery Channel, launch The Learning Channel (TLC) and Animal Planet, re-launch Travel Channel and bring to market the first suite of digital offshoot channels for the earliest broadband television platform. Giatzis was also part of the launch team at Oxygen Media, where he served as Director of West Coast Sales and then Vice President of National Advertising Sales.

Giatzis entered the world of non-traditional media sales as a senior member of the sales management team at Premier Retail Networks (PRN), helping to monetize in-store television networks for retail clients such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, Sears, Costco and Sam’s Club. Giatzis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in economics and business from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa.
