Startup sales guru Erik Stenson joins Bay Area online portrait company Picateers, Inc.

SAN MATEO, Calif. – Oct. 10, 2007 – Startup and new capital venture sales veteran Erik Stenson has joined Picateers, an innovative online portrait company, as vice president of sales. With 15 years of sales and sales management experience, Stenson is now in charge of boosting sales.  The search was conducted by Taylor Winfield, Inc.

Prior to joining Picateers, Stenson was vice president of sales at San Francisco-based Papilia, Inc., BenefitPoint Inc., and InsWeb Corporation.  His successful career has focused on enabling technology startup companies to build a solid sales organization and grow its initial revenue base. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
