Connie J. Adair, CEO
As CEO of Taylor Winfield, Connie has had a long and distinguished career in executive level management, operational excellence, and executive recruiting. She has served as either Founder or CEO of two enterprises and General Manager of a $500M business unit within a Fortune 100 company. Recognized as a leading executive recruiter, Connie has advised Boards of Directors, Investors, and Senior Management teams of hundreds of technology companies in the development and recruitment of top executives.
Connie has an established and proven track record in creating and executing the “best practices” search methodology that has earned Taylor Winfield the highest closure rate in the industry. Connie has developed solutions to enhance and drive significant value to her clients with company expansion to include an impressive C-Level international practice in China, India and EMEA.
Connie and her team have led the reorganization and repositioning of the company which now spans three verticals – Technology, Retail/Hospitality and Clean/Green Environmental - and three client profiles - Venture Portfolios, Private Equity Opportunities and the Public Sector. Amy Vernetti, Managing Director
Amy joined Taylor Winfield via the 2005 acquisition of The Vernetti Group. Since 1992, Amy has been instrumental in building the management teams of companies including Jaspersoft, Digital Fountain, Voltage Security, Informative, Net6, Pavilion Technologies, Altra Energy Technologies, Prologic Systems, MyCFO and Think3.
Prior to founding The Vernetti Group, Amy was a General Partner with Technology Crossover Ventures. TCV is an expansion stage venture capital firm that invested in Expedia, Netflix, Personic, Ariba and Firepond. Prior to TCV, Vernetti was the "Human Capitalist" at Garage.com, a leading venture capital investment bank. She created the Human Capital program at Garage.com that was the only one of its kind in the venture capital community and a key component of the Company's offerings. As the program's leader, Vernetti was a headliner at Garage.com’s "Boot Camps" across the U.S., speaking to entrepreneurs on the importance of recruiting and retaining the right people to drive their businesses.
Vernetti was a Principal with the International Technology Practice at Heidrick & Struggles, where she was a member of the firm's Software Industry Group. She was also a member of Heidrick & Struggles’ five-person launch team for Heidrick On-Line, an innovative client communication tool used globally by the technology practice. Prior to that, she was with the Advanced Technology Group of Korn Ferry International, where she began her career in executive search.
Throughout her recruiting career, Amy has worked for clients such as Netscape, Apple Computer, Dell Computer, Autodesk, Novell and several early stage companies.
A strong proponent of public school reform, Amy has also worked with several organizations focused on K-12 education including The New Schools Venture Fund, Teachscape and The Lightspan Partnership.
Vernetti is extensively profiled and quoted in Business Week, Fast Company, InternetWorld, CNNfn and CNET, among others, on the topic of human capital. Amy was a contributor to the human capital section of Guy Kawasaki's new book The Art of the Start.
A consummate team builder, Amy was a Division I NCAA basketball player at Saint Mary's College in California. A mother of two, Amy now lives in Oakland, CA. She is on the Board of Directors for Envision Schools, a not-for-profit charter high school organization funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and is an advisor to the Professional Aptitude Council.

Paul Moran, Managing Director
Paul focuses on servicing clients in the High Technology Industry as well as servicing Taylor Winfield’s corporate account base. He has successfully completed assignments for companies ranging from emerging growth to the world’s leading multi-nationals. Paul has recruited talent for senior general management positions and executive roles across the globe in the areas of sales, marketing, finance, engineering and consulting.
An established search professional with 20 years of experience behind him, Paul began his career in executive search with Fenwick Partners, which was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles where he became a Partner as a member of the firm’s Technology Practice. He later joined Korn/Ferry International as Managing Director, while maintaining an active practice. Most recently, Paul was a Partner with CTPartners.
A technology industry veteran, Paul’s corporate career also includes Vice President of Management Recruiting with Internet Capital Group and Director of Business Development at Arthur Andersen, LLP.

Gerri Kies, Managing Director
Gerri brings more than 20 years of experience in executive recruiting and human resource leadership roles to the Taylor Winfield team. Prior to joining Taylor Winfield, Gerri led successful practices for two retained search firms in sectors, including consumer branded goods, retail, foodservice, manufacturing, high-tech consumer products and financial services. Her extensive senior level human resources experience includes such leading Fortune 500 Companies as PepsiCo, Macy’s and Nations Credit.
Gerri has recruited executives into both public and private companies, including 7-Eleven, Home Interiors & Gifts, Neiman Marcus, Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza, EatZi’s, QuikTrip, Match.com, Cerilliant, Ace Cash Express, Pizza Hut, Swift Foods, Dickey’s, Double D Ranch Wear, King Ranch, Buy the Color, AutoNation, Divita, Health Stop, Kohler, Capital One, Sterling Bank, Wal-Mart, Disney Entertainment and Brinker International. The searches were for a broad range of executive positions including C-level sales, marketing, human resources, operations, and finance.

Ann Zeichner, Managing Director
Ann brings to Taylor Winfield over twenty-five years of technology market experience building winning teams across the technology spectrum at service providers, hardware, software and Web 2.0 firms.
Ann’s proven track record spans both publically traded and privately held companies funded by such venture investors as Greylock Partners, Norwest Venture Partners, Matrix Partners, Mayfield Fund, Summit Partners, Accel, and Benchmark Capital. Most recently, Ann was a Partner at Lonergan Partners, where she ran the online services, software, and communications practices. There she was instrumental in recruiting key executives to Symmetricom, Narus, Global IP Solutions, Infoblox, Glimmerglass, Marketo, Utterli, Kadoink and Skire as well as many other firms. Ann specializes in working closely with the CEO and /or Board of Directors to attract top talent to build high growth divisions within public companies or to create top management teams for private equity backed companies.
Prior to joining Lonergan Partners, Ann was Vice President of Sales & Marketing at NorthPoint Communications, a pioneering carrier (CLEC). Ann launched the company and led the national roll out of DSL based local access services, successfully negotiating relationships with major carriers well as ISPs, generating revenue growth while helping to lead NorthPoint through an Initial Public Offering.
Before NorthPoint, Ann was CEO of Cambio Networks, a privately held infrastructure software company. Previously, Ann held Vice President level positions in Sales and Marketing at a number of technology companies at different stages of growth: these include 3Com, Ascend Communications, Fibermux (acquired by ADC Telecommunications), and Micom (acquired by Nortel).
Ann strongly believes senior team dynamics make or break a company: she has lived both outcomes. Lynn Durant, Managing Director
Lynn brings to Taylor Winfield a proven track record of 20+ years building successful teams. As a Managing Director, Lynn offers a combined background of deep experience in executive recruitment executing searches along with 10+ years of hands-on operational experience in multiple technology sectors.
Most recently as a key member of the executive management team in the role of Global Vice President Customer Care and Professional Services, Lynn re-engineered processes and built strong teams that scaled each division, producing 3x revenue growth for a global infrastructure software company. While building a base of 400+ Fortune 1000 customers she grew revenues to $50 Million and was instrumental in positioning the company for its recent sale to Cisco Systems (NASDAQ CSCO).
As Vice President Delivery during her early tenure with Taylor Winfield, Lynn was responsible for executing Board, CEO and VP level searches. She also partnered to build and maintain TW’s best practices resulting in the delivery of top talent to clients across the portfolio. She has extensive experience within the Venture, Private Equity and Public sectors.
Lynn’s background includes DARC Corporation where she led business development creating partnerships with Oracle managers and carried overall vertical industry segment responsibility building their North American recruiting practice. In addition, she was a Logistics/Operations Oil & Gas Executive and held similar positions with Charles of the Ritz LTD. Lynn has a B.A. from Kean University in Union, New Jersey.

Jen Sudduth, Managing Director
Jen leads searches in the TW Scale division in a wide range of sectors, including high tech, e-commerce, energy, manufacturing, and medical devices. Her clients include a small to large companies, from early stage companies seeking strong leaders to move into their next phase of growth to large, established companies expecting to hire the best candidates to maintain their positions in the marketplace.
Prior to entering the search world, Jen was a success in the area of sales and marketing. With Waypoint Business Solutions, a Houston-based systems integrator, she was instrumental in creating their go-to-market strategy and branding. The company earned a coveted place on the Houston Fast Tech 50 as one of Houston’s fastest growing tech companies. Jen also worked at Neon Systems (NASDAQ: NEON), where she was on the I-Wave integration sales team. Prior to joining Taylor Winfield, Jen was with a boutique search firm focused on local and national full-time search assignments for technical, sales, operations and executive level positions across numerous industries in the Houston area.
Jen holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. She is a strong advocate for children’s rights and serves on the board of directors for Justice for Children, a national organization dedicated to providing legal advocacy for abused children.

Susie Back, Vice President comes to Taylor Winfield with more than two decades of Executive Search and Corporate Human Resources experience. Before she came to Taylor Winfield, she gained her exceptional knowledge in a variety of important areas. As a recruiter with a recognized leading boutique Executive Search firm in the Silicon Valley, she successfully conducted searches for Chief Executives, CFOs and other C-level positions for clients in the Information Technology and Technology Services industries. She has successfully served start-up, turnaround, merger, acquisition and Fortune 1000 clients.
Prior to Executive Search, Susie was successful at Google as a Contract Recruiter for the Enterprise Search and Appliance division. Her efforts were focused on the Enterprise Sales and Account Management team fulfilling their recruiting objectives for the Federal/DOD Sales and Regional Sales Directors in the US and Internationally.
Susie’s background in Corporate Human Resources comes from her ten years in Healthcare. As Regional Director of Human Resources for United Healthcare she was an integral member of the Western Regional Executive team. She worked closely with the management team during a period of transition and change in the Healthcare field in the early 1990’s.
Susie is active in National Charity League, where she focuses her time and energy in several philanthropic endeavors, including The Princess Project, which promotes self-confidence by providing free prom dresses to inner-city youth, and Loaves and Fishes which is committed to providing nutritious meals and support services for the homeless and less fortunate.
Susie received her Bachelors in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Organizational Development from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She currently resides in Alamo, with her husband and three girls.
